Extra-fine screenless Stochastic printing. With stunning, full-page illustrations from the originals by Edmund Dulac, René Bull, A.B. Frost, Willy Pogany, J.C. Leyendecker, Honor C. Appleton, Kay Nielsen, Lawson Wood, Norman Price, George Studdy, Ida Rentoul Outhwaite, Harry Rountree, Warwick Goble, and others. Plus obscure material from rare books by such artists as Heinrich Lefler & Joseph Urban, Thomas Mackenzie, Charles Edouard de Beaumont and Umberto Brunelleschi.
I’m a fan of all issues of ImageS, but I have to admit this latest collection is one of my favorites. Many of the reproductions are from original art, with stunning printing.
