Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea Art Book–Mike Mignola and Gary Gianni. Coming This Fall From Flesk!

Hi, everyone,

The updated trade edition of Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea art book by Mike Mignola (plot and script) and Gary Gianni (art and script) is coming this fall from Flesk. This collection goes into great detail about how this 49-page comic was made. We’ve introduced new insight and details that didn’t make it into the original edition. It has been a lot of fun retooling this book to hit a new audience. We’ll share more details in the coming months.

Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea Studio Edition Kickstarter Campaign Ends Thursday

Hi, everyone,

We’re in the final stretch of our Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea Studio Edition Kickstarter campaign! It ends tomorrow!

There has been five stretch goals unlocked since we launched the campaign a month ago. Lots of bonus material and free goodies are now included.

This book, which is written by Mike Mignola and Gary Gianni, and with art by Gary includes the Hellboy story with it’s thumbnails and preliminary art. Now, it also includes additional pages including a MonsterMen story, plus a bonus The Call of Cthulhu book illustrated by Gary. There are prints also!

Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea Studio Edition! Kickstarter Launch on Sep. 12th!

Launching on Kickstarter next Tuesday, September 12th! Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea Studio Edition! This book showcases Gary Gianni’s thumbnails, pencil preliminaries, and the final art–all reproduced from the original art.

The book will also include notes throughout by Gary that give you an intimate look into the making of the book. Additionally Gary writes about working with Mike Mignola to make this graphic novel come to life.

More details will be revealed on launch day!
