Reviewing the “Drawing Beautiful Women” Proofs With Frank Cho at Comic-Con

In an effort to keep the Drawing Beautiful Women: The Frank Cho Method book on schedule I had the oversized Studio Edition book proofs shipped direct to my hotel in San Diego during Comic-Con. The other bonus to this was that Frank and I could review them together. I brought the proofs to my Flesk booth on the Sunday of the show. Soon after Frank showed up our friends Jim Reid and Jim Silke stopped by to join in. After carefully inspecting the proofs, Frank, both Jim’s and myself gave the proofs our stamp of approval. Here’s a few pictures taken during our meeting.

Frank-Cho-Flesk-Proofs-SDCC-05 — Here, we are discussing the tonal areas of the pictures. Since the Studio Edition is so much larger than the trade edition we were able to add more pictures of Frank in his studio to this edition.
