We are thrilled to have the following five respected professionals on the Spectrum 21 jury.
Illustrator, animator and educator, Cory Godbey; Fine artist, illustrator, sculpture and special effects artist, J. Anthony Kosar; Painter, writer, photographer and educator, George Pratt; Fine artist, film conceptual artist and illustrator, Shelly Wan; Film conceptual artist and illustrator, Allen Williams. Each judge will vote independently and anonymously to maintain the integrity of the Spectrum call for entries submissions selection process. The artists whose works are selected for inclusion into Spectrum 21 will be notified by April 1st.
In addition, the Gold and Silver award nominations for the eight categories will be determined. The Spectrum 21 award recipients will be revealed at the live ceremony held on May 10 at the Midland Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri. This evening celebration will run in conjunction with the Spectrum Fantastic Art Live art fair which runs from May 9-11.
